Well, good on you. I'd love to have a group of writing friends to do that with. Too bad. That's what happens when you're employed in a field of technical macho geeks.

Hi Wayne .... your blog is full of fun writing goodies!

Just need to get the group together.

Wayne

Yeah. I plan on starting up an online writers' group. Just a small group of regulars who get together and read and review each others work prior to submission. But I guess it's not the same thing.

Bev Trayner

Let me know if you ever do a sort of face-to-face speed writing session where you have to jointly create a story or piece of writing with a deadline (2 days). I'd be interested to know how it goes.

  • My name is Bev Trayner and I live in Setúbal, Portugal. The focus of my research and practice is designing for learning in distributed communities. I am particularly interested in connecting people in international communities. Key words are: communities of practice, learning, meaning-making, inclusion, multiliteracies, Portugal, and Web2.0 technologies. Keeping a blog helps me navigate my way through different practices and world views. Phronesis includes pondering on the specifics and the universal. It follows on from my previous blog "Em duas línguas".
