Some of us have a conversation in a guest house in Florence for the Prato Dialogue. Someone takes notes about the conversation and puts them on the Prato Dialogue blog.
Someone else, Nancy White in USA, who couldn't be at the Dialogue leaves a comment on the blog about something Patricia Arnold (who was in the face-to-face conversation in Florence) says. On her own blog Nancy posts a summary of the conversation and her comment to Patricia.
Then Lilia Efimova of Mathemagenic responds to Nancy's comment to Patricia with a post about trust in weblog conversations.
It's another example of how the fluidity of a conversation and relationships can maintain and grow between people who were physically at an event or not. The process of reification and participation at work. And all without a discussion forum!
