I'm in Porto - that place you're bound to get lost if you're driving - where we are going to do a two day writing session at a workshop we called CIBlend. What a treat! Ten of us from Australia, UK, Portugal, who have never written together before and our plan is to write an article(s) for the Community Informatics journal.
Real collaborative writing is an intimate act and also with a lot of tensions. I'm intrigued to see how this goes.
Yes, Porto is the right town to get lost. :) You are however among friends (I supose!). Therefore, writing, as a technique you use everyday has to work either as an individual act or as a result of group/collaboration action (different backgrounds, cultures, genres, and so on). What a challenge! You're lucky!!

Great, Adelina! It's not easy to find resources in Portuguese about communities of practice, so that will be useful.
